Who is a play nook for?

Our play nooks have been curated and specially designed for children ages 5 and under.

What are the play nook rules?

The rules of the play nook are there to keep everyone safe and having fun while keeping the playequipment in excellent shape.

The play nook rules are:

  • 5 years old and under only
  • Adult supervision required
  • No shoes
  • No face paint / messy items
  • No food, drink, or candy
  • No sharp objects
  • No pets

These rules are posted on a folding sign next to your play nook so guests can be reninded of the expectations.

What happens if it rains?

The soft play equipment is made with foam and will be ruined if it is wet. As a result, we cannot set up in wet weather.

This means that if there is even a slight chance of rain in the forecast, or the ground is wet, we cannot set up and you need a backup plan. This could be a garage, pavilion, living room, or event space.

If we arrive for set up, the weather is predicting rain, it is raining, or the ground it wet and you failed to provide a backup space, we will not set up and your will lose your payment.

Wet Weather Policy

What happens in hot weather?

To keep your little ones safe on our play equipment, we have one rule about setting up in hot weather:

You must have a shade covering.

This covering could be a pop up tent, covered deck, pavilion, or a garage. Whatever it is, we want to ensure that the kids are not uncomfortable on the equipment so they can play for the full duration of your event rental.

Without a shade covering, we cannot set up in hot weather.

Most of our play nooks need a 10×12 foot space so you can plan accordingly.

Hot Weather

What happens if it snows?

Hey Minnesota, what’s snow-ing on?

Alright, bad joke, but we know the snow, blizzards, icy roads. closures, and driving bans are going to happen.

If the weather is just too bad for me to get to you, you will be 100% refunded both your play nook fee and deposit.

For your part, you must ensure we have clear access to the driveway and entry point. Driveways and walkways must be plowed and/or shovled. This includes both event venues and events at home.
